As a reply to the person who said about the point and click interface linux has that too for a local console :) XWindows ;) you can even use a java applet to see your XWindows now. Linux offers stability in a great way, i dont know about some of you guys but i had a linux slackware box up 372 days (allmost a year) then the power went out... i had a redhat box up 92 days and a FreeBSD up 462 days. (personally) Linux offers more web-allowed features to be used. Linux was supposed to be the platform of the internet and everyone knows it is :) The best part is if you leave your cpu connected to the net all night its free ;) |
